banks, fraud and foreclosure

I was wondering how long before people realized the banks were fleecing the country. It seems that banks have had a major meltdown in regards to paper work and legal procedure. The banks have had the rules in their favor for years and they have never been questioned. However, it has become clear that not only did the banks screw the entire economy with their security frenzy, they may have done the same to themselves now that they are not getting a free pass when it comes to chain of title. Their recent attempt to side step the law and have a new law passed backfired when the president vetoed the recent pro banking, anti homeowner legislation. The bill was to have allowed validity of electronic signatures and files with no regard for original "wet ink" documents. It appears the banks rarely transferred original paper work when loans were sold and MBS. They also on occasion even destroyed the original paperwork once it was entered as an electronic transaction. They have been fraudulently staking claim to property by falsifying documents and recently decided to go all out and rubber stamp paperwork to try and cram as many foreclosures through as possible. This was clearly a blatant act of fraud with banks hoping they could keep the public from noticing their obvious abuses. It makes perfect sense if we look back on the situation a few years ago. There was no real reason for the housing sector to have a meltdown when such a small portion of loans were going into to default. The reason the banks could not resolve the problem and take back the collateral in the beginning was because it was likely through the peak of the mortgage craze, banks could not provide proof of title. They also wanted to avoid the responsibility of having to buy back notes from investors because they were going sour in the first several months. More to follow.
